Australian Government Has Allocated 1800 Skilled Nominated Places To Australian Capital Territory Fy 2024-25

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government continues to address skills shortages and labour market needs through the state/territory nominated stream of the Australian Migration Program. Each financial year, the Australian Government allocates a fixed number of nomination places to the ACT.

For the 2024-25 financial year, the ACT has been allocated a total of 1,800 nomination places, distributed as follows:

• ACT permanent 190 nominations: 1,000 places
• ACT provisional 491 nominations: 800 places

These allocations will help the ACT Government to strategically fill critical skills gaps and support the Territory’s economic growth.
