British Columbia, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island have invited candidates as per the category-based system in the recent round of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
Candidates who are nominated by a province have a higher chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a PR visa in Canada.
1. On 18th July 2023- British Columbia invited more than 167 applicants in four PNP draws. 112 individuals with tech-related vocations were the main aim of the draw. A score of 88 on the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) was the minimal requirement. Each of the final three drawings required a minimum SIRS score of 60.

2. On 20th July 2023- Ontario held two Express Entry Draws on the Human Capital Priority Stream, in which Tech Occupation got an invitation of 902 candidates and 159 invitations for healthcare professionals. The CRS score ranges from 458-462.
3. Prince Edward Island invited 106 candidates on 20th July in the first PEI PNP draw of the month. The candidates were in the Labour and Express Entry Stream and invited 97 candidates who work for PEI Employer having a minimum EOI score of 50. Furthermore, with a minimum point of 80, the province has invited 9 applicants for the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream.
