Ontario and British Columbia conducted Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, inviting candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Provincial Immigration Results: October 12-18

Ontario On October 17, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 1,307 candidates under the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. Those invited had CRS scores ranging from 405 to 435 and work experience in specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes.

Newfoundland and Labrador Near Maximum Provincial Allocation

On October 8, 2024, Newfoundland and Labrador announced that it had nearly exhausted its provincial nominations for 2024. As a result, priority will be given to applications in sectors facing labor shortages, such as healthcare, early learning, and construction.

Processing of other applications will resume in January 2025.
