About 128 new occupations have been integrated into the South Australia Regional Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA).
Sectors Include:
- Health
- Education
- Renewable Energy
- Construction
Both DAMAs extended until June 30, 2025.
- The SA Regional DAMA now offers an increased annual nomination ceiling, from 750 to 2000 places per year.
- South Australia retains concessions such as an age concession of up to 55 years
- A 10% reduction in the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT)
- Concessions for English proficiency and work experience, enhancing accessibility for skilled migrants.
- Removal of certain occupations like Grape Grower, Actors, Dancers, and Choreographers from the DAMAs due to changes in demand.
- TSS visa holders nominated under a DAMA occupation can apply for nomination for the Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) visa under the relevant South Australian DAMA, offering flexibility across different DAMAs.
