ACECQA to Lead Early Childhood Teacher Assessments

In an upcoming change for Early Childhood Teacher applicants, the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) will officially take over as the assessing authority for the occupation beginning December 7, 2024. Those with pending applications for skills assessment under the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) will have their assessments completed according to AITSL's criteria.

Applicants wishing to proceed with AITSL can still submit applications up until the deadline at midnight on December 6, 2024. This transition to ACECQA aims to streamline and specialize the assessment process for Early Childhood Teachers in Australia.
