Manitoba and Alberta Issue Invitations for Provincial Nomination

March 2025 – Manitoba and Alberta have issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination under their respective Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), targeting skilled workers in key sectors.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Between February 28 and March 7, Manitoba invited 111 candidates, including:

• 98 candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream (Lowest score: 861)
• 13 candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream (Lowest score: 724)
• 27 of the total invitations were issued to Express Entry-linked candidates

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)

Alberta conducted multiple draws from February 7 to March 7, issuing invitations to candidates in law enforcement, healthcare, technology, and agriculture.

Key selections included:

• March 5: Law Enforcement Pathway – 4 invitations (Minimum score: 48)
• Feb 7-28 Draws: 20-88 invitations in Agriculture, Tech, and Healthcare, with minimum scores ranging from 45-67

Express Entry candidates receiving provincial nominations gain an additional 600 CRS points, significantly improving their chances for Canadian permanent residency.
