In 2023-24, the Department of Home Affairs has given fewer skilled visa nomination allocations to Victoria. Victoria's allocation this year is 3,300 nominations.
This includes 2700 places for Subclass 190, 600 for Subclass 491, and none for the subclass 188 Visa nomination Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP).
