UK Launches Major Campaign Transitioning Drive On eVisas For Indians

The UK government has started a major campaign urging immigration that includes Indians too to switch their physical immigration documents to eVisas. This is basically the part of plans to digitalize the immigration and border systems by the next year.

The majority of biometric residence permits (BRPs) will be automatically transitioned online at the end of this year and in the phase to be accessed by creating and logging into a UK Visas and Immigration online account.

The transition to the eVisas is a key element of the British government that offers greater smooth customer convenience, significant cost savings, and enhanced security for the UK’s border and immigration system.

With eVisas, visa holders can securely prove their immigration rights, it can't be stolen or tampered.
