476 Skilled Recognized Graduate Visa
The Skilled Recognized Graduate Visa subclass 476 allows recent engineering graduates of recognized institutions to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience

ELIGIBILITY
- Under 31 years of age
- Have completed an engineering qualification at a recognized institution in the past 2 years (Bachelors degree, masters degrees, doctoral degree, post graduate diploma)

Specializing in one of the following fields:
- civil engineering
- structural engineering
- chemical engineering
- environmental engineering
- electrical and electronics engineering
- mechanical, production and plant engineering
- mining and material engineering.
- Not have been the primary visa holder of a subclass 476 or 485 visa
- Must meet health and character requirements

Demonstrate English Language Ability*
(Citizens of the following countries do not need to demonstrate English language ability: United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, USA or Ireland)
Processing times: 8 months (75 % of applications) | 11 months (90% of applications)
Location: You may be in or outside Australia when you lodge the application but must be outside Australia when a decision is made on the visa unless you are a New Zealand passport holder.

- your partner
- your child/step-child or your partner's child/step-child
- Your family can apply to join you in Australia once this visa is granted
