Alberta invited 200 Express Entry candidates on 16th Feb,21 with the minimum
CRS of 301. The CRS requirement has dropped almost 60 points since the previous invitation
round. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program invited the candidates to apply for the Alberta
Express Entry stream. During the pandemic, Alberta is only considering candidates who are
already living and working in the province. The number of provincial nominations allocated
to Alberta for 2021 has not yet been disclosed.

candidates on 16th Feb,21
Ontario invited 1,186 Express Entry candidates on 16th Feb in first Tech Draw of 2021. The
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued the invitations to Express Entry candidates
with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 453 and 467.
These six occupations received ITA's are:
- Computer and information systems managers (NOC 0213)
- Computer engineers (NOC 2147)
- Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 2172)
- Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)
- Computer programmer and interactive media developers (NOC 2174) or
- Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)

International students can now do 100% of studies online and still get PGWP.Canada is
reaffirming its commitment to international student graduates by further loosening
eligibility requirements for the Post-Graduation Work Permit. International students who
complete their entire postsecondary program online will now be eligible for the three-year
open work permit after graduation. Canada is making it easier for international student
graduates to be eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) during the pandemic.
Before, online learning could not count towards a PGWP application, but that has all
changed.
