Alberta invited 200 Express Entry candidates on 16th Feb,21 .
Alberta invited 200 Express Entry candidates on 16th Feb,21 with the minimum CRS of 301. The CRS requirement has dropped almost 60 points since the previous invitation round. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program invited the candidates to apply for the Alberta Express Entry stream. During the pandemic, Alberta is only considering candidates who are already living and working in the province. The number of provincial nominations allocated to Alberta for 2021 has not yet been disclosed.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued the invitations to Express Entry candidates
with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 453 and 467.

reaffirming its commitment to international student graduates by further loosening
eligibility requirements for the Post-Graduation Work Permit. International students who
complete their entire postsecondary program online will now be eligible for the three-year
open work permit after graduation. Canada is making it easier for international student
graduates to be eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) during the pandemic.
Before, online learning could not count towards a PGWP application, but that has all
changed.
