IRCC Updated Minimum Proof of Funds Requirement for Canadian Skilled Immigrants: Effective May 28, 2024

IRCC has revised the required settlement funds amount for Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program applicants.

It is significant to maintain eligibility to update the applications with new figures by 28th May 2024 as it will not be accepted later than 27th May 2024.

However, You don't need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if:

  • you're applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
  • you're authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program
