This stream is integrated with Canada's federal Express Entry system, requiring candidates to have an existing application in the Express Entry pool. Those who receive an invitation from the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) automatically gain an additional 600 CRS points on their Express Entry application, virtually ensuring they will receive an ITA in an upcoming Express Entry draw.
