VETASSESS New Skill Assessment Fees to Take Effect from 20 November 2024

October 2024 – Prospective migrants are being advised to prepare for changes in the fees for skills assessments, which will come into effect on 20 November 2024. The updates apply to various assessment services, including Full Skills Assessments, Points Test Advice, and 485 Assessments.

Key Fee Changes:

• Full Skills Assessment: The fee will increase from $1,033 to $1,070.
• Points Test Advice: The fee will rise from $293 to $304.
• 485 Assessment: The fee will increase from $392 to $406.
• Post-485 Assessment (same occupation): This fee will jump from $803 to $832.

These changes reflect adjustments in processing and administrative costs and are part of ongoing efforts to maintain high service standards in the assessment process.
