The Australian government has announced that visa holders of subclass 482 will now have a way to permanent residency in Australia. By the end of this year, the Temporary Residence Transition stream of the Employer Nomination Scheme subclass 186 will be amended:
All Temporary Skill Shortage candidates will be able to grab the opportunity to be sponsored for ENS (Subclass 186) visas. The sponsored visa holder are now eligible for the scheme after 2 years of sponsorship on a TSS visa.
