The Department of Home Affairs has announced that there will be no minimum income requirement for the Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191).
The prime applicant will need to provide notices of assessment issued by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for 3 income years out of the 5 years of their eligible visa. Also, the applicants who have already lodged should confirm their application provided these notices.
For qualified holders of the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491) and Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (subclass 494) visas, the Regional Provisional Stream's Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa is the route to permanent residence.
